Playing downloaded Saavn songs in native Music Player in One Plus 3

For those who got Pro account in Saavn ( One Plus 3 users must have got it thru launch offers) .. here are the steps to save the downloaded songs in your native music player.

Songs downloaded thru Saavn are stored in
Home > root > sdcard > Android > data >com.saavn.android > songs
The files are stored with encrypted names like 3oilR6h.mp3 , 99pk3klnp.mp3 etc.
There will be another file curr.mp3  , which is a temporary file generated for the currently playing song in Saavn
Copy this curr.mp3 file and save it to root > sdcard >Music folder with the proper name of the song.

Open the Music app and this file will be in the playlist.

Try it and let everyone know about it...

Cheers..

Creating Ringtones for iPhone with iTunes.

Do you want to have your own ringtone for your iPhone.. here are the steps..

Step 1:  Launch iTunes on your computer.

Step 2:  Add the song or audio file you want to use into  your iTunes library

Step 3: Right click on the song and select “Get Info." and In the Get Info window, selection the Options tab and change the Stop and Start Time to read the segment of the song that you want to save as a ringtone and select OK

NOTE : Ringtones can only be for 30 seconds.. so choose the slot you want to have as your ring tone ex: to start from the beginning Start time from 0:00 and stop time  as 0:30 or if its a portion of a song, then start time as 1:45 and stop time as 2:15 and so.

Step 4: Right click on the song again and select “Create AAC Version”. A second song with the same name but new length should appear right next to the original in iTunes.

Step 5: Right click on the new song and select “Show in Windows Explorer" .The new song will show up in folder  window as an .m4a file. Select it

Step 6: Rename the extension of the file from .m4a to .m4r. Make sure you rename the extension, not the file. This step is very important. Changing it to .m4r turns the file into a ringtone. and choose Yes while prompting again

Step 7: Go back to iTunes and delete the newly created short song.
When asked about deleting the song from iTunes library, please select Delete Song

When asked whether you want to move the selected song to the Recycle Bin or keep it in iTunes media Folder, select “Keep File.” This step is also important.

Step 8: Go back to Folder  and double click on the .m4r file. The ringtone will automatically move to your iTune’s Tone library.

Step 9: Connect your iPhone to computer  ad sync with iTunes .

Step 10: When your iPhone is done syncing, the new ringtones can be found in your Settings app on your device.

Go to Settings> Sounds> Ringtone and select your new clip.

Thats it and yo have your own ring tone in your iPhone.. Enjoy

Spice Boat Restaurant in Doha

Had been to Spice Boat yesterday (9th Feb ) and here is my review ..
Got good and bad points to mention and bad goes first..

1. Lack of baby seats(high chairs) :
It is necessary to have at least couple of baby seats, when i inquired , the staff told they have one and it is occupied. I hope they will understand it is difficult to enjoy the food with baby in our hand.
My expectation was there will a baby seat and so i didn't carry baby stroller. ( bad guess :)

2. Soup was not hot, it was just warm
I have ordered two different soups and both were not enough hot. I hope the staff know soup is supposed to be served and enjoyed as a hot starter and it should not be just warmed.

3. Finger bowls are supposed to be served after the food with out asking.
Especially when the wash/rest rooms are kilometers away from the dining area, we expect to et finger bowls once the plates are takes away .

Now the points who earn brownies..

1.  Food was tasty.
We tried 3 chicken dishes, 1 veg dish and all except one was good.Garlic chicken was not up to the mark.

2. Good ambiance.
One of the posh areas of Doha and the lighting and ambiance inside the restaurant was awesome.

3. CEO's interaction
Mallika chechy was awesome in interacting and  my 1 year old baby was with her for some time. She didn't show any star power or so..

4. Affordable prices
The restaurant offers food at a n affordable prices and we are happy with the bill .

In addition to the good & bad points , i have few suggestions to.

1. It is bit tough to find the place, so if there is a name plate in road or at the entrance of building it will be great.
2. A background light music will obviously change the mood of guests.(Light music in low volume)
3. Add a mix bread basket to the menu. since we all likes different types of bread and if we got option if mixed basket, we all can taste different items.
4. Get a survey from the guests and see how you can improve in each and every corner.

Thats all for now and see how they improve ..

Will update once i visit the place again.
till then enjoy & have fun..

Why Mothers Kiss Their Babies

After a baby is born, it is a natural thing to see the mother kissing the baby. One would think that this is simply because of the emotional bond that has formed between mother and child. While this is true, there are also some other very compelling biochemical reasons as to why this occurs. These reasons reinforce the understanding that our bodies have inner wisdom which we seldom recognize or trust. Just as our bodies know how to give birth even if we don't have intellectual knowledge of the process, our bodies'  biological systems also have reasons for the complex social interplay between mother and baby.  It just goes to show that, more than ever, we should trust our mothering instincts.

When an animal gives birth to its young, you will notice that the mother spends a lot of time licking it's child. It exposes the five senses to the young, so that the mother knows the taste, smell, feel, sound, and sight of her new baby. In this way, the mother claims the child as her own.  When a human mother gives birth to a baby, and does so in an environment which allows her immediate and free access to her child, you will notice that over a period of time the mother performs certain behaviors which we call claiming behaviors.  She will caress the child, exploring the softness of the baby's skin and probably counting and fondling the unique little fingers and toes. She probably marvels visually over how much the baby looks like her or her husband or another family member, the color of the hair and eyes, and other physical features. She hears the baby's cries and learns to distinguish her baby's cry from all others. As she leans down to kiss the child, she undoubtedly smells the scent of her new baby, and through the act of kissing the baby, she actually learns to know the taste of him/her. She has also exposed her five senses to the baby so that she attaches to the baby, feeling that the baby is now her own. It is interesting to note that women who are deprived of the privacy and opportunity for bonding immediately after birth often state that there is an emotional distance between them and their babies, that they are never really sure that the baby is theirs.

Claiming behaviors such as kissing the baby provide not only emotional but biological attachment. There is also a very real health benefit for the baby in terms of kissing.  "When a mother kisses her baby, she 'samples' those pathogens that are on the baby's face - the very ones that the baby is about to ingest. These samples are taken up by the mother's secondary lympoid organs like the tonsils, and memory B cells specific for those pathogens are re-stimulated. These B cells then migrate to the mother's breasts where they produce just those antibodies that the baby needs!"

We talk a lot about breastmilk, and about how it conveys antibodies to the infant and helps to prevent illness. However, the antibodies that the mother has made to the germs around her while pregnant convey little help to the infant. It is the germs in the infant's environment at present, the ones he is in contact with right now which he needs protection from. Kissing the baby is a very important activity beyond it's obvious pleasurable and attachment-promoting value.

So mothers, kiss away on those babies!
